Coach House Physical Therapy Building

I am very pleased however late in writing this email and letting you know just how greatly pleased that I am with being a patient at Coach House Physical Therapy. I have been a patient of CHPT several times previously for injuries including knee ACL reconstruction, lower back disc degeneration and injury, and neck disc and soft tissue injury due to an auto accident. After each of those “recoveries” I was completely satisfied with every aspect of my treatment. My wife has also been a patient with a similar experience.

Most recently I have been a patient recovering from extensive shoulder surgery due to arthritis. This experience, meaning the therapy, rehabilitation, exercise and physical stretching and manipulation has been excrutiating. I wasn’t told previous to surgery that shoulders were “the worst” With that being said, CHPT has been the best. You and your staff have been absolutely fantastic!

Kimberly Stoner and Jared McEwen have handled most of my rehab and been exceptional at explaining anything and everything to me, encouraging my efforts and pushing me toward recovery. Both have been pleasures to work with, optimistic and high energy “coaches” and very good, but aggressive enough at the physical manipulation that can be tough. Both are extremely knowledgeable, but more importantly, you, Kim and Jared have actually made rehab an enjoyable experience. Strange as it may seem, I enjoy coming to CHPT for my therapy, even though it can be painful.

You have created a culture at CHPT that is unique for physical therapy and rehab. No appointments are necessary, making it easy for the working individual to rehab. Every patient is introduced to every other patient around them, putting us all in the same healing boat and encouraging us to encourage each other. The interaction between patients and staff and other patients is unbelievable. The atmosphere is beyond friendly including all of your administrative staff.

I have recommended CHPT before and will continue to do so. Thank you for all the good you have done.

A company goes above and beyond its call

It is always a welcome feeling knowing that a company provides the service it says it will, but when you find one that goes above and beyond, that is a rarity. That is what I found at “Coach House Physical Therapy” located in Dumfries. When I first walked in the door, I felt the “family” atmosphere.

After a thorough evaluation was done, I was off to start the healing process through carefully planned exercises and encouragement. The staff never made you feel like “you could not achieve.” They always encouraged me and kept my doctor informed of my progress.

The individual care that I received while in their care over a 3 month period was exceptional. In a way, I didn’t want to leave because of the “family” I had found there.

I would like to say thanks to Brock (Owner and Therapist), Charlie and Tina (Physical Therapists) and Maggie (Therapy Assistant) as well as the front desk staff. The entire staff made the healing process fun and easier.
